Get to know Caroline.

M: Please describe your studio

CB: omg my studio is actually like my bedroom which is awesome because its like i never have to leave home. its so easy and wonderful and cheap!!! im sory but i like refuse to buy any materials cause art should liek be free and wonderful. capitalism kills art!!!! well except clothes..i spend some money on my clothes from time to time but that also has a practical purpose haha!

M: Please list the tools you use to make your work.

CB: easy--my wonderful macbookpro, my cute living spaces, my hot body, sweet singing voice, intelligent, analytical mind and fabULOUS FABULOUS CLOTHES!! oh and i cant forget my fans! who constantly urge me to make new work and embrace what i do. FUCK THE HATERZZZ!! im no troll i swear oh also all the great music out there on the internetz that allows me to do what i do best DANCE DANCE DANCE!!

M: In what way, if any, does the location or size of your studio influence your work?

CB: like my room and apartment is kind of small so it def limits the kinds of dance moves i can bust out in, or how far away from the camera i can be. i have SO many great pairs of shoes id like to show off in my vids but i can never seem to squeeze my feet in there!!! location location location--obvi..its so freakin cold where i live so that i have to turn the heat way up so its nice and hot so i can wear next to nothing in the vids.

M: When other artists ask you what kind of work you make, what do you usually say?

CB: i say im an internet whore ;) although sometimes its hard to verbalize emoticons..... obvi right? no thats a great question. perhaps while im literally an internet whore im more socially acceptable as an internet performance artist.

Material for print comes from our staff and also comes from this website, our discussion forums, emails, and everything we can get our hands on to document and record.

We're looking for any and all documents and recordings of things said/made/done by artists. Any format, text, audio or video is fine. We want to publish interviews, photos, talks, lectures, openings, happenings, performances, interventions, transcripts, emails, chats, podcasts, videos, correspondences, and anything else you can think of.

Looking to submit something? Join this site and post it here. We cull through any and all of the material posted online here and in the microsites for print publication.
